Info: My father-in-law owned the car during the late 60s until 1972, when I purchased it from him.
I kept it for about 2 years and sold it to a person who then painted it white - I think it was hand painted for when I saw the car it was a mess.
He sold the car to Stratford-upon-Avon car museum - that is no longer in existence.
My father-in-law used to travel to Wales with his wife, 3 grandchildren (aged 5 years) and a dog for holidays!!!
I found the car so easy to maintain as one could open the bonnet and sit on the front wheel to work. Quite a job to tune in the two carburettors.
I can remember going to the cinema in Coventry, when during the interval the Herald was assembled and then driven around the stage to demonstrate the very tight turning circle and also, how easy it was to replace the wings, and other body work.
