Info: My first car was a 1959 Herald reg number 1950 WD. It started out as a yellow and white car with the bonnet pull in the middle of the bonnet. My brother in law saved it from the scrap man around 1974. He took it to college where has was training as a apprentice panel beater for Bridge Clock Motors Holyhead Road. It was restored and upgraded as part of their course work. Ended up with a 13/60 bonnet, 1200 engine and many Vitesse bits to make it look more sporty. It came to me in 1976 when i passed my test. This is the only picture i have of the car. Cost me a massive £75 ! . Painted in the then current colours of French Blue with Sapphire Blue stripe. |
