Info: I was talking to a friend last night, and Heralds came up in the conversation (as they do!). It turns out he owned a 948 coupe from 1963 to 1966, and quickly reeled off some details:

Registration number 567 EVO, Powder Blue & White (he thought with a ‘brown’ interior, which sounds like Coffee – did any Blue cars have Coffee interiors?), he thought 1959, definitely smooth roof. It either cost him £400 to buy, or he got £400 when he sold it – I think the former is more likely, but even that sounds a lot for a 3-4 year-old car. I’ve sent him off to find some photos, which he is sure he has – they may well be colour slides, which will be good!
