Info:I bought this car in 2006 from a guy in Gillingham for £250 from ebay. It was in a very bad state. I fancied restoring one as I previously had a 1200 convertible around 30 years ago that I restored.

When I got the car it had a black and white interior which I still have. Unfortunately big holes had been cut for speakers in the front door cards.

When I got the car it was bright yellow with black painted bumpers. It is now back to the original pale yellow colour. Almost a primrose. It does look very nice though with the interior. I also have a dark blue hood to replace the rotted black one. I have pretty much everything now to complete the car, so it should be back on the road soon. I've just bought new number plates from jepsons in white rivited letters on black as it originally had. It would fantastic to have the original dash again. I may well be interested in the clocks though. Unfortunately I have not been able to source a dashboard to put them in, in 14 years!
