Info: I attach from my archives photos of 698 VPF in a sorry state after overturning it on Westerham Hill in 1966. My parents had the car from new 1959, sold by Felbridge Garage, East Grinstead.
I wrote it off aged 19, they were not pleased.

I own and have owned since 1968 a Triumph Roadster 2000, and one of our club members found your site, hence my archive retrieval. My parents went on to own another Herald, a Vitesse, Spitfire and GT6.
In the 1970’s I owned a Mk2 2000 and 2.5PI.

NOTE:This registration ran between July 1961 and February 1962. A late 948 registration but (other photos) clearly indicate this was a 948 convertible.
