Baby" was assembled in Australia as a CKD in early 1960. She was in a very sad state of repair when she was bought by my wife Gail in 2016. Extensive rust was in the floor, doors, quarters, boot and wheel arches. Fortunately the chassis was in good condition with only minor work required The "egg carton" dashboard has been refaced and seats reupholstered as well as all new carpet. Wiring loom has been rebuilt with fuses and relays incorporated as well as an alternator to handle the modern lighting and accessories. A full strip down and rebuild with all work being completed by me and my wife, although at 937 hours of tallied time for the rebuild I'm glad we don't do this for a living. We can be found tootling along the roads of the Barossa and Adelaide Hills in South Australia.
