Info: 30 years ago I purchased a Triumph Herald 948cc saloon from a farmer in Essex.
It was a non runner after a severe overheat problem.
On getting it home by recovery truck, the engine was removed and dismantled as I was an apprentice mechanic at the time and wanted the challenge of renovating a classic car.
The big ends, mains, crank and pistons were severely worn so it was parked in my garage awaiting funds.
Body is tatty around door bottoms and bonnet/front wheel arches but sills and rest of body are not too bad for an olden |
