Info: In 2018 I bought a Triumph Herald coupe which was offered to me by a friend in a local car club.

The car had been passed on from several previous owners with some parts going missing and others being collected along the way. No one knew the full story of the car though a restoration had been started with rust repairs in the floors and sand blasting of the doors.

Three years later it was time to bring it home and have a closer look. I had also bought a copy of Trauma at Triumph (great book) and started to check where it fitted in. The plate with the commission number was still attached and the engine was also original. The Australian body plate was missing. The only documentation I had for the car was the original hire purchase agreement form from the first owner. Then I discovered your website and realised I may have stumbled on to something a bit special.
