Info: I bought this car secondhand in 1966 from Darkes Garage in Louth, Lincs.
By the summer of 1967 it was consuming vast amounts of oil and it ended up having a rebore.
In 1970, after my parents died and I had the use of their car it was on loan to my younger brother who was working in London. At some point that year or the next it lost a rear wheel going round Hyde Park Corner and ended up on a final trip to the scrap yard. I believe the wheel hub had parted company from the axle.

Given their rarity today perhaps it was short sighted to get rid of it but as young men in our twenties neither of use could see the point of spending more than it was currently worth on repairs which we could ill afford.
