Info: This coupe came to me (from a scrap collection, I think) without any identification plates at all, although you can see where they have been. As I do not have any information of the previous owners.
Herald coupe rescued from the wrecker, now fitted with a 1200 cc Toyota engine and 4-speed gearbox, mated to a new Triumph differential. The engine has twin SU carburettors fitted and has a modified sump to allow engine location to optimise weight distribution. Car has been sitting in dry storage for some 10 years, but was free of most rust with new floorpans when parked. The suspension and brakes were reconditioned at that time but will require restoration. All hinges and locks, instruments, glass, etc are included, but no grille or original seats. A few years ago, I bought a fully reconditioned coupe top; the original rusty coupe top is also included. This project does not require a great effort to complete and would provide a spectacular vehicle with better than average performance from an engine the same capacity as the original.
