Info: When I came to register it I saw that it was first registered here in South Africa in 1958. This puzzled me as I knew that it did not go into mass production until 1959. As you can see it is a coupe but it looks as though somebody modified it my removing the roof and then fitting it with bolts and wing-nuts to re-fasten it. The original colour was green but I am not sure if it was mono-coloured or two-tone. They also fitted "racing seats" and had the interior re-upholstered in red to match then new colour.
