Info: I was apprenticed to Standard Triumph from 1956 -1961 and remember the Herald very well. My father bought one in 1960 through me to get the works discount. It was approx 750 pounds and I can vividly recall walking from Eastern Green to Styvichall with a pocketful of notes to pay cash for the car. It was registration HP4113. A brilliant little motor.
