Info: I am the second owner of the car, I got it from the original owners who brought it with them when they emigrated from England in 1965. I moved in next door to them in 1993, it was in their garage since the mid 70's and I, as another Brit, was asked if I would take it over so it wouldn't get scrapped. It has the original engine and has 69K on the clock. It has had the interior replaced in leather to the original patterns, a new headliner and carpets and lots of polishing. The car was black from the factory which was deemed too hot in California, so red it is.
Before emigrating, the car was taken over the Alps & the Pyrenees on vacations.
Upon arriving in New York in '65 it was unloaded from the liner USS United States an driven across country to it's new home.
