Info: Dont know if this will help but in mid 60s till71 my dad owned a powder Blue Herald registered YAB 173.I was only a baby/toddler then so a lot of this came from what mom and dad told me.
Some time during dads ownership the engine was changed to what i believe was a Triumph 2000 unit but have no idea if anything else was changed on her.Dad was a very nervous driver when he first passed his test so the car was used mainly at week-ends.
The car was sold to a friend of my dad in 1971 and replaced with what must have been one of the last new Heralds available.
YAB was last seen by us in the mid/late 70s in the Sutton Coldfield area of Birmingham and isnt listed on the DVLA site as in existance anymore unfortunately.I believe her to have been a 59 model year car.
